Dear readers,
today I share with you the ultimate fish experience. Although referred to as "whale sharks" the Butanding in the coastal waters around Donsol in the Philippines are still regarded as fish. They can grow up to 18 m in length and are a truly exciting site to snorkel with. It is a little challenging to keep up with them, because what one swing with their mighty fin can do, is hard to compensate with a dozen of human kicks. The pictures, however, reveal that we had quite some fun and an excellent day.
