Dear friends,
during our few days in Chile, we were lucky enough to see the Chilenean National Orchester perform at one of the central venues in Santiago. Students paid a nominal amount equivalent to 5 USD and we enjoyed the performance quite a bit. Interestingly enough, the componist and conductor was a Peruvian professional the orchester had invited especially for that night. Susan and I enjoyed our time even more, in fact I was so relaxed by the music and after a day of running around the city, that I dose off several times during the different pieces. Luckily I do not snore...
